“In every wrinkled hand, we see God’s face.” This profound belief of our CMC Sisters is beautifully reflected in their selfless service at Mercy Home, Palakkad, where they work tirelessly to ensure the comfort, dignity and well-being of the elderly residents.
As part of our Diamond Jubilee Project – 13, a few members of our staff visited the Old Age Home on 18 August 2026 (Tuesday). The Home lovingly cares for around 22 elderly inmates, the eldest being 95 years old.
As a gesture of love and care, groceries, clothes and other essential items were donated to the residents. The visit was deeply touching and inspiring. It was heartwarming to witness the loving, compassionate and selfless care extended to every elderly person.
It was truly a humble and grace-filled experience, reminding us that caring for the elderly is not merely an act of service, but a beautiful way of sharing God’s love.
