We are His children, called to live like Christ and follow His example of humility and love. This powerful message was shared by Rev. Fr. Anson Panengaden CMI, the new Principal of Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School, during the celebration.
A visionary leader adorned with commendable achievements, Fr. Anson reminded our students of their identity as children of God. He highlighted the virtue of obedience exemplified by Mother Mary, along with her spirit of submission, humility and quiet strength—virtues beautifully carried forward by the religious sisters who were celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The celebration brought together all the staff and students in the auditorium to extend their heartfelt wishes to our Provincial Superior, Mother Shalini CMC, as she joyfully commemorated 50 years of her spiritual journey and dedicated service. The gathering also celebrated the feast of the Principal and Mother Shalini with gratitude and affection.
The occasion further became a moment of patriotic reflection as we remembered and saluted the great leaders and freedom fighters who contributed to our nation’s journey. With hearts filled with gratitude and pride, we celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India, honouring the spirit of freedom, unity and patriotism.
It was truly a meaningful celebration that brought together faith, gratitude, humility and patriotism, making the day memorable for the entire Avila family.
